Stay Home, Play Chess

Ever since the virus pandemic hit the world, it's been a tough time for nearly everyone. But though many activities have slowed down or even stopped, the learning can continue.
The Cheras Chess Academy has been conducting online chess classes for many years. With our experience and training methods, your child can continue to learn the game and keep their minds active at home. Let us help your child. It will make a difference.

 EVIZ Rating

Currently there is no National Chess Rating list in Malaysia and this is affecting  chess organisers, coaches and players. For tournaments that are not FIDE rated, chess organisers are unable to rank players in an unbiased manner. For players,  there is no yardstick to gauge their progress.

As such, the Cheras Chess Academy and a number of other local organisers will be using the new EVIZ Rating system to rate most of our rapid tournaments.
