FIDE Arbiter Seminar 
(30 June to 4 July 2011)
(Kuala Lumpur)   

            A FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from June 30 to 4 July 2011 by the Malaysian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE. 23 aspiring arbiters from all over Malaysia attended the course. The lecturers were IA Bunawan of Indonesia and FIDE Secretary General, IA Ignatius Leong of Singapore.

3rd SJKC Jalan Davidson Chess Open

         A total of 246 students took part in the 3rd Chess Tournament organised by SJKC Jalan Davidson Kuala Lumpur and  assisted by The Cheras Chess Academy and Percawi. The top three winners of the five categories are as follows:

MSSM Chess Tournament

        Off to Penang for this year's MSSM which begins on the 31st of May 2011. This year's MSSM will be played at Tanjung Bunga Beach Hotel, Penang. 

                                

          

Chess sessions in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur

Day & Time: Sunday from 3 to 5 pm.

Levels:  All levels from beginner to tournament player.

Age: Children from 5 years of age to adults.

Who should join: Anyone who is interested to play Chess either for fun or to become a 
                         strong player. For your information, we have been running classes in Cheras 
                         for more than 4 years. 

Area: In Cheras, Kuala Lumpur (near Leisure Mall).
